Keaton Brower is a Kernersville-based director, actor, and educator. Since 2023 he has been the Lead Theatre Instructor at North Carolina Governor’s School East in Raleigh; in 2025 he also became the Theatre Director at Penn-Griffin School for the Arts in High Point. Directing credits include A Christmas Carol (Carolina Ensemble Theatre), the world premieres of CaptiveSong of the Spinners, and Sunrise Reverie (NCGSE), as well as James and the Giant Peach (Piedmont Players Theatre) and Deathtrap (Triad Pride Acting Co.). Assistant directing: Dracula (Triad Stage), the National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere of Ripe Frenzy (New Repertory Theatre/Boston Center for American Performance), and more. Acting: A Christmas Carol (CET, NCShakes), Much Ado About Nothing (RhinoLeap Productions), Unto These Hills (Cherokee Historical Association), the upcoming short film Heaven’t (JNR Productions), and more. He holds a BFA in Theatre Arts (Performance) with a Minor in Arts Leadership from Boston University, a Diploma in Classical Acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, a High School Diploma in Drama from UNC School of the Arts, and a Certificate in Theatre from NC Governor’s School East.

Catherine Kelly Johnson

Catherine Kelly Johnson is an actor, singer, and student of Arts Management via the University of Oklahoma. Catherine earned a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance in 2014 before moving to Dresden, Germany, and Vienna, Austria, to begin a performance career as an operatic soprano. She sang the role of Susanna in Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro during that time and toured with the critically acclaimed chamber trio Ensemble Poetico in music festivals throughout Germany and Austria. Since returning to her home state of North Carolina, she has worked as a vocalist and actor on stage and screen; an arts educator and university professor; and a director for regional theatre companies. Catherine was seen as a Caroler in 2024’s production of A Christmas Carol with Carolina Ensemble Theatre. Other regional appearances include performances with OdysseyStage, the North Carolina Bach Festival, Carolina Shakespeare, the Duke Chapel Schola Cantorum, Drop Spindle Theatre, Paradox Opera, Vixen Theatre Company, the Raleigh Camerata, and Sweet Tea Shakespeare. Catherine’s experience in Arts Management includes serving as Creative Director for the North Carolina Bach Festival as well as founding Sidewalk Opera, a nonprofit organization that performs pop-up concerts with a portion of proceeds providing musical instruments for local families.
